• A large number of Birder from Delhi are very seriously following up with the Authorities
• These efforts are slowly bearing fruits
• Authorities are now becoming serious and some action is being seen now.
• These efforts also helped get the illegal constructions being demolished.

APPROACHING THE COURTS:

• Public Interest Litigation has been initiated by certain NGOs for removal of unauthorised construction, fishing and other such problems
• Stay orders obtained and some demolition of unauthorised structure managed
• These NGOs are understood to be filing yet another application for ensuring proper development of the sanctuary, i.e., Fencing, Stopping of Traffic, Fishing etc, and Proper Administration of the Sanctuary
